Since I first saw a warbringer titan on a discord server in 2020, I’ve thought it was the titan I would buy if I was to buy one. I love that the walkway on the top lets you place models up there which really helps show the scale of it. The other titans seem so isolated from human scale models, that you don’t get to appreciate their size without putting things at their feet.
The Warbringer is in an odd place With GW. If you had asked me a year ago (Jan 2025) I would have said it was no longer in production. Other than the head, it was no longer on the GW website since the new store launched in 2023. There were rumors of them being available at Warhammer World, but I had never seen it in stock when I visited. While the head was still on the site, it had never been in stock to my knowledge. It’s status was often discussed between my friend Chris and I. He believed it to still be in production and I did not. At some point I set up email notifications on the head. I did this mostly just to see if it ever came back into stock.

At the time Chris had two titans, a chaos reaver and a warhound, and I will admit to being jealous of them but for me it had to be a Warbringer if I was going to do it. As Chris had titans and was a part of the UK Titan Owners club he was a part of their group chats where they talk about rumors and keep an eye on production. Around July 2025 he shared a rumor that there would be 20 warbringer made and available around September 2025. This might have been perfect as around October I was planning to a Necromunda event in Derby and Nottingham is a cheap train ride away.
On the 8th of October the head came back into stock. I instantly bought it. Worst outcome, I could sell it as they are so rare, but I suddenly had hope I could get a warbringer. I join the Titan Owners Facebook group and start reading posts and mentally planning my titan.

On the 16th of October someone posts on the Facebook group that they got a Warbringer titan at Warhammer World. Its late at night and I decide to email Warhammer World asking if I can reserve one if the have more. I start planning my journey to Warhammer World, but on the 18th they get back to me to say they are all sold or reserved. I later spoke to someone that got one of them and while I was sending a 1am email he was setting his alarm clock for 4am so he could drive to Warhammer World for opening. I realised that even if they did come back into stock again, getting one would be hard. This person also revealed there was only 12 not the rumored 20.
Around this time the head was removed from the GW online store. It felt like this might be the end. I saw a post on the TO Facebook page saying they had got the store to start an interest list at Warhammer World. The idea being it was evidence to show GW higher ups that there was demand for more, and people on the list could be contacted if more came in. Rather than email, I phoned and got added to the list.
Some time passed.
During most of this I was dealing with my father being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I’ll be honest, the titan dreams were a nice distraction from what was going on. In November he passed away.
At this point I had moved on and started my hunt for another dream model (A 90s chaos dragon which is now in my pile of shame). My hopes of getting one were slim and if the interest list went anywhere I expected it to be 2026 at the earliest. Out of nowhere in December I get an email from the manager of Warhammer World, telling me they have 8 more in stock and asking If I want one. (remember the rumor of 20?) I decide it would be a nice distraction and say I’ll pick it up in a few days.

I don’t drive and I live in Scotland, so it was a 4 hour train ride down and a 4 hour train ride back up. On my way to Warhammer World I stopped in Dunelm (Its at the dram stop before WW) and got an xl carrier bag and prayed it was big enough for the titan.

The staff thought I was crazy, but it surprisingly fit with extra room for more purchases. I had to dump the large outer box, but I probably wasnt keeping it anyway.
If anyone wants to get the same bag for titan transport, this is it: Kids Bumblebee Jumbo Storage Bag
Its a seriously great bag and I’ve already used it for boardgames.

That’s my story how I got Warbringer 466. I want to try and document as much as I can here, both building and the everything around it as I feel like it’s useful information. I like the blog format and feel it’s dying in the world of social media and youtube. I’m hoping to post a lot more here from now on. Not just the titan, but also my love for Necromunda and my Chaos Dwarfs.
